Why Deck
In a word - quality. Our experience and craftsmanship really stands out in the details. Our goal is for 2 referrals to come from each project - and you don't grow like we have by building average decks and fences. We hope you'll chose Deck Right because of the quality of the structure (our fence posts generously sunk/anchored and placed 6' apart as opposed to 8'), quality of the installation, beauty of the design and the professionalism with which we handle every aspect of our business.

We're very proud of our work and encourage all of our clients to ask questions until they are satisfied they have accumulated enough answers to make a knowledgeable choice. We'll do our best to be available during your decision making process as well as the construction to answer any concern or question that may arise.

How much should I budget for a deck?
Prices will also vary depending on area, materials and design. Here are some general guidelines for your budget:

Decked with Pressure Treated Pine
$11.00-17.00 per square foot.

Decked with Composite
$15.00-22.00 per square foot.

What’s with all these new composite materials and should I use them to build my deck?
They are basically a mixture of finely ground hardwood and plastic. The highest quality composite materials are made with Maple wood flour, and high density polyethylene. These typically have a 25 year warranty, don't split, are much more resilient to wear and tears, and don't splinter or rot like wood. These products look very authentic and now come in a nice range of colors and textures.
